Daytime Drinking and Doggie Door Break-in

Wednesday 9/1

3:26 a.m. Someone was involved in some illegal parking on Sixth Street East.

8:06 a.m. A Kalispell resident called in to report that someone had broken into their garage and taken the “good” bike.

10:25 a.m. Two somewhat cute but aggressive cocker spaniels nearly bit some children at a local daycare.

11:31 a.m. A suspicious young man wearing a sweatshirt with the state of Kentucky on it attempted to sell magazines to a concerned woman living on Glenwood Drive. She believed the man was trying to scam her.

12:12 p.m. A transient was seen participating in transient-type activities behind a Highway 93 business in Kalispell. He was gone when police arrived.

12:27 p.m. A camper was stolen out of Kalispell resident’s yard.

1:55 p.m. Two “extremely” intoxicated men passed out next to a bush in Kalispell. They were unable to stand and in possession of a wrench.

2:06 p.m. Someone called in from Idaho Street in Kalispell with a report that three underage females were “trying” to be prostitutes.

2:55 p.m. A resident on 12th Street West thinks someone has been consistently breaking into their home via the doggie door and exiting through the back door. Items are missing and many things in the house have been disturbed.

4:28 p.m. A Kalispell man has asked police to help him make his daughter stop harassing him over the phone.

8:42 p.m. A tree branch fell and landed on First Avenue West.

12:42 a.m. A laptop was stolen out of a vehicle on First Avenue West.

1:59 a.m. A woman on Fifth Avenue East called in to report that someone has been sneaking around on her deck the past couple of nights. Apparently they knock on the door then leave on a bicycle.

5:48 a.m. A Kalispell man called in after his wife bit him and drove off in her gold car.
