The website Book of Odds has compiled a map of stress levels across the country. It finds that one in 2.65 Montanans experience “a lot of stress in a day.” While that appeared like a high number to me, it actually makes ours one of the most relaxed states. Hawaii, according to chart, is the least stressed state in the country, while Kentucky is the most.
Montana tends to rank highly in polls that measure a population’s wellbeing. Last year Gallup reported that Montanans were the “happiest” in the country. Although the state ranked just 16th in the latest “wellbeing index.”
