Glacier and Flathead Volleyball Ranked in Top Five

The season is young, but Glacier and Flathead are already trying to make claims as contenders in Class AA volleyball. According to the first Montana Class AA “power poll” of 2010, released on Sept. 13, Glacier is ranked third in the state, while Flathead is fourth.

Flathead is the only team besides No. 1 Helena High to have received a first-place vote. The poll is based on coaches’ votes.

Class AA Power Poll (with first-place votes in parentheses):

1. Helena High (12)
2. Billings Skyview
3. Kalispell Glacier
4. Kalispell Flathead (1)
5. Billings West

Also receiving votes (in order): Billings Senior, Bozeman, Missoula Sentinel, Great Falls High
