HELENA – Both the Montana and Montana State football teams play their Big Sky Conference home openers Saturday afternoon.
No. 14 Montana (1-2, 0-1 Big Sky) is looking to snap a rare two-game losing streak when it hosts Sacramento State (2-1, 1-0) for homecoming. Montana fell 36-27 in a wild league opener at Eastern Washington last Saturday.
And Griz fans may find themselves cheering for Montana State (2-1) this weekend, as the 17th-ranked Bobcats open league play against No. 9 Eastern Washington (2-1, 1-0).
Both games kick off at 1 p.m.
