9:22 a.m. Someone called in about a man in a “floppy Giligan-style” hat messing around with the Head Start buses on East Idaho Street. Kalispell police were unable to find the man in the hat.

9:47 a.m. A Conestoga Court garbage can owner called in when they saw someone else use it.

11:42 a.m. A seemingly successful theft from a Highway 2 East business was foiled when the woman ran out the door with the stolen items and drove off without realizing she had forgotten her purse.

4:02 p.m. A man on a bike told Solberg Drive residents that if their dog ever attacked him again he was going to turn his pit bull loose on it.

4:45 p.m. Someone from Columbia Falls called in to report that someone had stolen their remote control car back in July.

5:21 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident was worried when they received a text message from someone threatening to beat their car up.

11:02 p.m. Parents kicked their out-of-control 40-year-old son out of their house.

1:45 a.m. A woman from Bigfork claimed she could see lights behind the town. She suspected they were from a “UFO mothership.”
