Football Standings: Glacier Positioned for Playoffs

With three games left in the regular football season, Glacier is positioned to make another run at the playoffs. The 4-3 Wolfpack are tied with Missoula Sentinel and Billings Senior for the sixth-best record in Class AA. The top eight teams make it to the state tournament, with first-round action scheduled on Nov. 5-6.

Flathead is out of contention but is riding high after claiming its first victory of the year, a 42-20 win over Missoula Big Sky on Oct. 8. The Braves are 1-6 this year.

Glacier, which beat Great Falls 20-16 on Oct. 8, plays Helena Capital this weekend, followed by Missoula Big Sky and Missoula Hellgate to close out the season. The Braves face CM Russell, Hellgate and Helena.
