Undefeated Polson has a firm grasp on the top spot in Northwestern A volleyball. The Pirates, 8-0 (6-0), are trailed by Whitefish, which is 5-4 (5-2) on the season. Ronan, Libby and Columbia Falls round out the conference rankings with only a handful of games remaining before the divisional tournament on Nov. 5-6.
Meanwhile, Glacier is holding tight to its second-place position in Western AA. In the state standings, Glacier is ranked third in the most recent power poll behind Helena and Billings West. Flathead is ranked fourth both in Western AA standings and the state power poll.
The all-class state volleyball tournament is held on Nov. 11-13 at Montana State University in Bozeman.
