The time has come to fill out the ballot! We have read as much as possible! We have listened whenever we could! We have tried to filter out the ambiguity! But recently; after hearing a detailed, sincere, well thought out and realistic program from a refreshing candidate for Flathead County Commissioner – the choice is clear!
Pam Holmquist is the one that has developed, what we feel, is a “Blueprint for Progress.” We are convinced that when Pam is elected and is able to address the many issues that are facing our county, the results will soon follow. Her plans for fiscal accountability, countywide land use studies and comprehensive planning, long range goals and short term actions involving infrastructure, transportation corridors, and departmental efficiencies are refreshing.
There is no substitute for a successful business background and a dedicated public service record when we need someone that has a “plan” and a track record to back it up.
The potential for our county is so positive, it is almost beyond comprehension. We need someone that has a “forward” outlook and not the same old “crisis management” activity that ends up with wasted public funds and potential developers and employers that have no insight as to what lies ahead.
Our ballots are stamped and in the mail, and we sincerely invite each of you and your neighbors to bring home a victory for Pam Holmquist on Nov. 2 and let Flathead County receive the benefit of her plans and their implementation.
