Rumor Control and Thieving Wife

7:44 a.m. Someone reported seeing someone swerving in and out of traffic, but not exceeding the speed limit, on Highway 93.

9:39 a.m. Two hours ago, as reported by a Marion resident, someone came into her home and stole money and prescription medications from her bathroom.

10:01 a.m. Golden retrievers ran north down Highway 93 South.

10:54 a.m. A problematic dog was caught in a game warden’s live trap on Star Meadows Road. (This entry was modified since its original posting to clarify the owner of the trap.)

10:59 a.m. Someone called in to talk about a dark brown dog that had been running around a warehouse for most of the morning.

11:06 a.m. A Conrad Drive woman called in to say that she heard a rumor that her friend’s runaway juvenile was killed last week. She wanted to know if it was true. Deputies told her it was not.

1:50 p.m. A man on Airport Road called in to complain that his wife took his rifle from him.

2:26 p.m. People were spotted driving while drinking on Shady Lane.

4:12 p.m. A man on Shady Lane called in to say he had a problem with his wife beating him.

6:31 p.m. A man with two orange chain saws in the back of his truck yelled at someone.

6:44 p.m. An Airport Road resident wanted the tall drunken man and his little white truck to be removed from his property. He was gone when deputies arrived.

7:46 p.m. A call came in about a man driving his little white truck too fast on Commons Way.
