Window Creeper and Screaming Man

6:56 a.m. A woman asked deputies to escort her while she retrieved her things from a man who had threatened to shoot if law enforcement came to his home. When he opened the door to deputies, he slammed the door and ran into the home. However, he eventually complied and wielded no weapons when deputies entered and suggested he give the lady her stuff back.

8:36 a.m. A guy screamed at a woman on Smith Lake Road.

10:20 a.m. A woman reported that last night, at a business on Highway 35, her purse was stolen from her walker while her brother was helping her to her car.

12:50 p.m. A cream-colored Labrador retriever viciously charged a Conrad Drive resident and his dog.

1:50 p.m. A boy who had been with his dad, stopped by his mom’s house to find that his bedroom door was locked. In an effort to gain entry and access to his belongings, he busted the door down. His stepdad called in asking if he could be charged with breaking and entering – he could not.

1:54 p.m. A Marion man claimed someone kicked the door of his truck last night while he was at a bar.

5:42 p.m. A call came in about two 30-year-old men kicking each other on Shady Lane. They were gone when deputies arrived.

7:56 p.m. Numerous kids sprayed a car with a fire extinguisher on East Railroad Street.

9:14 p.m. An irritated woman on Conrad Drive called in to report that her boyfriend’s friend had just crawled in through her son’s window to retrieve his things. She would have rather he used the front door.
