Alone in Bigfork and Cujo Attacks

8:39 a.m. The careless owners of two friendly dogs moved, leaving them alone in Bigfork. The animal warden took them to the shelter.

8:45 a.m. A man, who was not allowing a woman to retrieve her belongings, was verbally abused and doused with coffee. Deputies advised him to give her things back.

9:21 a.m. Relentless dogs chased horses on Beartrap Road again. This is an ongoing problem.

12:13 p.m. A vicious pit bull named Cujo tried to attack a Martin City resident’s daughter and got into the garbage.

3:50 p.m. A woman on Highway 35 claimed a man splashed water on her and tried to hit her in the face with a skateboard.

4:13 p.m. A man says his dad, who lives in a van at the old Walmart, has gone missing.

9:43 p.m. A Somers Road resident believes an old white minivan with blue stripes was possibly casing area homes.

10:32 p.m. A strange man lurked behind the car wash on Highway 2 East. He was gone when deputies arrived.

11:06 p.m. Deputies checked on tourists who were sleeping in their car near the river.
