A cell phone left behind at the scene of a computer theft led investigators to a suspect.
The Daily Inter Lake reports 20-year-old Daniel Shaw of Martin City faces a felony burglary charge and three misdemeanor charges.
Shaw was arrested Oct. 23 following the theft of computers two days earlier from a business in Columbia Falls.
Court records say Adam Nelson, owner of Nelson Tech Support, reported the burglary after discovering someone had cut the power to the building and severed cables connected to a security system. He gave a red cell phone he found at the scene to police. Investigators found a photo of Shaw on the phone.
An arraignment has not been scheduled.
