Drunken Brodies Lead to Arrest

Monday 11/22

8:04 a.m. A resident on Mission Way in Kalispell found the doors to their vehicle open. Someone had gone through it, but nothing was missing.

9:50 a.m. Someone on Rockwood Road claimed that there were three dogs nearby with no food or water.

10:25 a.m. Two aggressive dogs successfully evaded the animal warden.

10:37 a.m. A Columbia Falls man thinks his stolen rifles were pawned.

10:42 a.m. A Shady Lane woman called in when her mom wouldn’t let her have her belongings.

10:55 a.m. Someone called in annoyed about barking dogs.

11:36 p.m. A man, who claimed to be a recovering drug addict, reported that his girlfriend was using drugs. They got into an argument and she left before deputies arrived.

1:41 p.m. Someone captured a dog and tied it to a flag pole. The animal warden took it to the shelter.

2:15 p.m. A utility trailer that was blocking a road in Coram was towed after deputies asked the owner several times to move it.

2:38 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident requested that deputies check on a gambling addict to make sure that he wasn’t gambling.

4:07 p.m. A dog was taken to the shelter after chasing sheep.

5:46 p.m. A woman claimed a big red semi hit her red truck and drove off.

6:46 p.m. Someone called in from Conrad Drive to report an icy patch of road.

10:35 p.m. An Evergreen resident reported banging that sounded like hammering coming from the neighbor’s apartment.

11:07 p.m. Someone reported an intoxicated man who had busted up a jukebox then took off, drunkenly spinning brodies in his big red truck. He was arrested for numerous infractions, including drunken driving, possession of drugs and obstructing a peace officer.
