Officials ID Man Stabbed to Death in Polson

POLSON – Authorities in Polson have released the names of a weekend stabbing victim and the man suspected in the fatal attack.

KERR-AM reports the victim of Saturday’s stabbing was 32-year-old Frank Martin He Does It, an enrolled member of the Crow tribe who had recently moved to Polson from St. Xavier.

Lake County Undersheriff Jay Doyle tells the Missoulian that Aaron “Jess” Spang faces a charge of deliberate homicide. Spang was expected to appear in court on Monday.

Assistant Chief of Police John Stevens says the stabbing was reported Saturday morning in an apartment that the victim shared with his girlfriend and her son, Spang.

Investigators say the stabbing occurred during an argument.
