8:22 a.m. A Hungry Horse dad called in worried about his daughter who hadn’t arrived home from a walk she went on yesterday afternoon. He soon learned she had spent the night with a friend.

8:37 a.m. Someone was seen driving in the middle of Highway 2 West.

9:39 a.m. A butcher knife was found on a Lore Lake Road sledding hill.

10:01 a.m. A Cooperative Way resident believes his vehicle was stolen and returned during the night.

11:15 a.m. A pit bull attacked a yellow lab that was out for a stroll.

12:06 p.m. A Coram resident complained that their neighbor piled eight feet of snow in the road.

12:41 p.m. A snowboard was swiped from someone on Big Mountain Road.

3:38 p.m. A lost out-of-bounds skier was hauled back onto Big Mountain by snowmobilers.

5:12 p.m. Someone noticed a stray dog in Evergreen.

9:33 p.m. Four MIPs were handed out to intoxicated kids at a party in Columbia Falls.

10:43 p.m. A Cemetery Road resident called in to report a young man who was sneaking around their neighbor’s house. The sneaky boy was trying to visit his girlfriend. Her mother, incidentally, was not pleased.

2:04 a.m. A drunken Hungry Horse man, who chose not to stop for a deputy, initiated what turned into a short-lived pursuit. He was arrested and charged with numerous infractions, including a DUI.
