FVTU Fly Tying Classes

By Beacon Staff

Flathead Valley Trout Unlimited is once again sponsoring our free fly tying classes for anyone interested in learning to tie their own flies or wanting to improve existing skills. Classes are held at the Kalispell Middle School from 7 to 9 p.m. Classes begin on Monday Jan. 10 for five consecutive sessions. The second class will be held on Wednesday Jan. 19 to avoid conflict with the holiday. All other classes will be held on Monday evenings. All tying materials will be provided. Bring your own vise and tools if you have them. FVTU will provide vises and tools for those who can’t bring their own.

Classes are free and open to all ages and skill levels from beginner to intermediate tiers. To sign up or get more information, call Jim Johnson at 837-3210.
