GREAT FALLS – One of the owners of Ashley Furniture stores in Montana says it is closing three more stores.
Jed Heggen tells the Great Falls Tribune that the Ashley Furniture Homestores in Great Falls, Helena and Missoula have been struggling since 2007 or 2008 and have been operating with skeleton crews. He says a decision needed to be made.
Heggen says the stores’ closing sales will take a few months and existing customer orders will be filled.
The group closed stores in Kalispell and Bozeman earlier this year.
The Ashley Furniture Homestore in Billings is under different ownership and will remain open.
