Four Braves Wrestlers Ranked in All-Class Poll

Flathead High School senior Connor Thomas is the top-ranked heavyweight wrestler in Montana, counting all classes, according to a recent poll. The poll was released by Hoyt and Blewett PLLC, a law firm in Great Falls that organizes the annual year-end Tournament of Champions in which the state’s top wrestlers compete to find out who the best of the best is, regardless of school size.

The standings were compiled with the input of coaches from around the state.

Joining Thomas as ranked Braves wrestlers are Caleb Piasecki (sixth in 119 pounds), Steel Hahn (fifth in 152 pounds) and Larry Francis (second in 160 pounds). Glacier’s Kaleb Mitchell is third in 105 pounds.

Polson’s Josiah Clairmont is fourth at heavyweight and Craig Feistner is sixth at 112. From Ronan, Toby Cheff is ranked second at 189 and Cole McArthur is sixth at 160. Libby’s Kyle Leir is second at 140 and Kody Berget is fifth at 189. Justin Whitman of Columbia Falls is ranked fourth at 125. Eureka’s Taylor Vaughn is ranked second at 171.
