Snow Blower Threat

8:44 a.m. A grandfather reported seeing a strange man talk to his 8-year-old grandson on the side of Valley Drive. The man took off before the grandfather was able to confront him.

9:29 a.m. A Valley Road resident claimed there was a blind Rottweiler in the yard.

10:30 a.m. The unfortunate manager of a laundry mat on Highway 2 East discovered excrement inside the dryers, waste baskets and other areas of the building.

10:41 a.m. A man on Hemler Creek Drive reported being threatened by his ex-girlfriend’s dad.

10:41 a.m. Mail was scattered all over Berne Creek Road.

12:30 p.m. A man on Morning View Drive made a report regarding a theft that occurred two years ago.

2:02 p.m. A snowboard was stolen from someone on Big Mountain.

3:19 p.m. A “short bald-headed man” driving a Chevy S10 reportedly stole four tires from a Columbia Falls resident’s yard.

4:24 p.m. A woman on Van Zandt Drive reported that an unidentifiable intoxicated man with a dog was rummaging around her car, banging on her door, cussing and threatening to kill her. When deputies arrived, she realized the man was her boyfriend. Deputies gave the man a ride home.

4:52 p.m. A woman near West Glacier claimed that after she yelled at her neighbor to get off her property, he tried to run her over with his snow blower.

7:47 p.m. Teenage boys with rifles and flashlights were seen on North Hilltop Drive in Columbia Falls.
