By Christie Burns

Thursday 1/07

8:21 a.m. A llama ran loose down Cemetery Road.

8:41 a.m. Someone on Helena Flats Road is suspicious that the neighbor is baiting dogs and cats.

9:08 a.m. A Kalispell man wearing a blanket was seen kicking cars. When Kalispell Police questioned him he denied kicking any cars and said he had a place to stay.

11:39 a.m. A homeless black lab was found on Adopt A Pet Way. It was brought in to the shelter.

2:33 p.m. A man was seen laying in the intersection on Meridian Road and Appleway Drive in an intoxicated slumber.

3:21 p.m. A worried driver on Highway 93 said someone in a golden Pontiac Grand Am was tailgating them and using obscene gestures.

5:21 p.m. A man on Patrick Creek called in to report “water spurting out of his house.” He claimed that while he was outside with his kids they heard shooting in the distance. He believed a bullet went through his window. There is a popular shooting area not far from his home and apparently someone missed their target that day and a stray bullet did go through is window and hit a water pipe. The man asked that a sign be put up at the range warning people to not shoot in his direction.

6:59 p.m. A woman claimed to hear “popping noises” that she thought could either be gunshots or fireworks. She was told the noise was coming from a nearby trap club.

10:26 p.m. A propane tank was stolen out of a Lakeside resident’s yard.
