Hungry Horse Stabbing Leads to Arrest

By Beacon Staff

A weekend stabbing has left one Hungry Horse man in jail and another in the hospital.

Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry says 31-year-old Travis Bacon was stabbed in the head, neck, back and chest at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday. He remained hospitalized in serious condition Sunday. A spokesman at Kalispell Regional Medical Center said Bacon had been moved out of the intensive care unit.

Curry says there are at least three stories about what happened and he says his office is still trying to sort it out.

Curry says 20-year-old Christopher Croft has been arrested on suspicion of attempted deliberate homicide.
