Missing St Ignatius-Area Woman Found

POLSON – Lake County authorities say a St. Ignatius-area woman who was last seen on Sunday has been found safe.

Sheriff Jay Doyle tells KERR-AM that 30-year-old Naomi Engebretson was found Thursday morning, walking on a road on the northern edge of St. Ignatius.

Doyle offered no other details, other than she was safe. Engebretson is a member of the Amish community in the Mission Valley.

The search effort included aircraft, searchers mounted on horseback and dog teams.
