By Beacon Staff

HELENA – The Borders bookstore in Bozeman is one of about 200 stores the company plans to close as part of its bankruptcy filing.

Borders is keeping over 400 stores open while it reorganizes under bankruptcy protection, including stores in Billings and Kalispell.

Documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New York say Borders could begin clearance sales as early as this weekend.
