7:04 a.m. A Bigfork woman called in to report that her boyfriend was supposed to be home last night but never showed. She was informed that he was in jail.

9:22 a.m. Someone called in to complain about feral cats hiding under their deck.

9:49 a.m. A kayaker on the Flathead River reported that he found a beaver in a trap and was wondering if there were any laws that would prohibit him from “messing with” it.

11:36 a.m. A Whitefish resident reported that an aggressive man came onto his property and stole firewood. Apparently, this is an ongoing problem and a prior
confrontation with the thief left the resident with a broken jaw. The man was warned to stay off the property.

1:04 p.m. A McMannamy Draw resident complained that there were numerous dogs on the their property killing chickens, rabbits and other animals.

3:59 p.m. A pack of dogs, including four labrador retrievers and one small shih tzu-looking dog, roamed together on Mallard Loop.

4:30 p.m. A Lakeside mom called seeking advice regarding her 13-year-old daughter’s refusal to follow rules regarding clothing and Internet usage.

9:14 p.m. A woman on Hidden Lane said her boyfriend’s intoxicated frizzy-haired ex-girlfriend was in her driveway.
