Libby Closing Elementary School

By Beacon Staff

LIBBY – The Libby School Board is consolidating schools to save money.

KECI-TV reports the board voted Monday to close Asa Wood Elementary School at the end of the school year.

Beginning this fall, students in kindergarten through sixth grade will attend classes at what is now the middle school, while students in grades seven through 12 will be in the high school.
