Quarrelling Neighbors

By Christie Burns

Tuesday 3/8

7:57 a.m. A woman on Twin Acres reported that a small chocolate lab sits in her field and barks nonstop. The resident also complained that the dog blocked her daughter’s path to the bus stop that morning.

8:42 a.m. Reportedly, a silver PT Cruiser forced a semi-truck off the road during a dangerous passing maneuver.

9:38 a.m. Flower boxes on Bridge Street in Bigfork were damaged sometime last week. The caller claimed to have a receipt that may have fallen out of the suspect’s vehicle.

10:01 a.m. Someone said they know of some horses on Willow Glen Drive that haven’t eaten in weeks. The animal warden found the horses in good health.

10:09 a.m. A watchful woman claimed she saw her neighbor haul thousands of dollars worth of stolen goods, including children’s clothes with tags intact and electronics, into her home.

12:59 p.m. An excited black lab knocked multiple children to the ground at the Bigfork elementary school. It was contained in the school office at the time of the call.

3:38 p.m. A wallet and a jacket were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Garden Drive.

6:41 p.m. A Bigfork woman said her neighbor constantly drives by and flips her off. She said the neighbor did so three times already that day and she’s sick of it.

12:47 a.m. A very intoxicated woman called 911 after she invited her husband, whom she has a restraining order against, over for a drink and he “flipped out.” She said she would call back tomorrow when she could actually speak.
