Five Local Basketball Players Named All-Tournament

Five Flathead County players have been honored for their performances at the high school state basketball tournaments on March 10-12.

Christian Ker, a 6-4 senior for Bigfork, was named to the Class B all-tournament team after leading all scorers with an average of 23 points per game. Ker scored 32 points in an 81-78 overtime loss to Wolf Point. Jesse Driftwood, the tournament’s MVP, scored 33 points for Wolf Point. Driftwood led the Wolves to the state title.

In Class AA, three Glacier players were named honorable mention all-tournament: senior Colter Hanson, senior Bryan Chery and sophomore Ryan Edwards. Flathead senior Joe Pistorese was also named honorable mention. Both Glacier and Flathead lost out of the tournament in two games.

Tanner Roderick was named Class AA tournament MVP after leading Bozeman to the state title. Roderick, the Montana Gatorade Football Player of the Year, also led the Hawks to the football title.
