“Snappy Sport Senter’s Flathead Outdoors” is a weekly radio program committed to timely and relevant coverage of recreation in the Flathead Valley, for the purpose of highlighting and exploring traditional and non-traditional outdoor activities.
I hope you will join me each week as we celebrate these treasures we share in the Flathead on “Snappy Sport Senter’s Flathead Outdoors.” It is my sincere hope that this program will appeal to the broadest range of outdoor enthusiasts, and that everyone will benefit from it. Regular features listeners can expect are:
The Motor Minute: Technical tips to help you keep your boats, campers, four wheelers, trucks, watercraft etc. in top shape. Top technicians from service departments around the valley will offer their expertise to assist you.
Glacier View: Regular reports from the parks most frequent visitors will keep you updated on trail conditions, wildlife sightings and events so you can plan your time for maximum enjoyment.
The Toy Store: Helping match prospective buyers with the valley’s best deals on trucks, boats, campers, ATVs and more.
Five Minutes of Fame: Helping to highlight and introduce activities (and the people involved) that may be a little out of the ordinary, or just not very well known.
Weekend Update: Notifying outdoor users about last minute items that will help you plan your weekend and possibly avoid any last minute “surprises” before you leave home.
Hall of Shame: Lawbreakers, mischief makers and other stories that will make you shake your head in disbelief, or give you a good laugh, and maybe even both!
These are just a few of the regular elements listeners can expect. Each week will have interviews with people who spend time outdoors and discussions about issues that impact outdoor opportunities. And it’s all about the Flathead Valley, with some short forays into places that we residents regularly travel to when we venture beyond the mountains that frame this majestic place we call home.
