Sibling Dispute

Sunday 3/13

11:55 a.m. A man on Good Country Road reported that a yellow lab leaped into his yard. It was hauled off to the shelter.

2:24 p.m. A mailbox exploded on Farm View Lane.

1:30 p.m. Someone on Martha Road in Columbia Falls said the driver of a small black hatchback “threatened” to hit them.

3:06 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman called 911 to report that a man had just hit her and her friend. He left in the direction of the local food store.

5:05 p.m. The Hungry Horse man who earlier assaulted two women then fled the scene was found and arrested. He resisted arrest and evaded the initial officer who responded to the 911 call. He was able to force entry into a nearby empty home on First SW in Hungry Horse, barricading himself inside. The SWAT team was called and the man was apprehended without incident. He was arrested on outstanding warrants for felony burglary and possession of dangerous drugs. Charges are pending for partner assault, resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer. He was also a non-complaint registered violent offender.

5:39 p.m. A Kalispell man reported that his ex-girlfriend had held him hostage earlier that day. At the time of the call, the man was no longer detained.

6:55 p.m. A Martin City woman was arrested for body-slamming her sibling.

10:28 p.m. A Kalispell man complained that after his neighbor’s dog attacked him the woman who owns the dog called and threatened him.

2:12 p.m. A woman at a Kalispell gas station said an intoxicated man was stumbling around. She said he fumbled around in his truck for a bit then left without turning his headlights on.
