A 17-year-old Kalispell boy who police say sexually assaulted a 4-year-old girl has been charged with sexual assault and sexual intercourse without consent.
The Daily Inter Lake reports that the boy was charged Wednesday in Flathead District Court.
Deputy County Attorney Lori Adams has requested a hearing to decide if the boy will be charged as an adult.
If he is charged as an adult, he faces up to life in prison.
Kalispell police in court documents say the boy told police he had sexual contact with the girl and showed her obscene videos on his cellphone.
The boy is being held in the Flathead County Juvenile Detention Center.
