The Kalispell Lakers are taking applications for their 18th annual American Legion Baseball golf tournament on April 23 at Village Greens Golf Course. The event, which begins at 10 a.m., is a fundraiser for the Lakers baseball program.
Fees are $65 per person and $130 per team, with a maximum of two mulligans allowed for $5 each. There are prizes for longest drive, longest putt and closest to the hole, as well as prizes for the top three teams. Businesses can also choose to sponsor a hole for $100.

The Lakers hold a scrimmage on April 25 at Griffin Field. Then the AA team kicks off its season against Bozeman on April 30 at home, while the A team faces Mission Valley on the road on April 30.
