UPDATED: Missing Whitefish Woman Found in South Florida

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – Authorities say a missing Montana woman has been found in South Florida.

Delray Beach Police Sgt. Nicole Guerriero tells The Palm Beach Post that Amanda Lyn Buchanan of Whitefish, Mont., was found early Tuesday in Briny Breezes.

Guerriero says an off-duty police officer saw the 34-year-old woman standing outside a surf shop. Buchanan did not appear to be harmed.

Buchanan was reported missing Monday after her belongings were found on Delray Beach.

Guerriero says Buchanan’s family told police that Buchanan had struggled with depression and that they did not know why she was in South Florida.
