Drunken Wood Thief

Monday 4/18

7:17 a.m. A go-kart was stolen from outside a residence on Rocky Meadows Loop sometime last weekend.

8:35 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman said her log splitter has gone missing.

9:00 a.m. Someone said a thermostat was stolen out of their rental home on Hidden Lane.

10:25 a.m. An eighth-grader in Kalispell threatened to beat up another student then verbally assaulted the principle.

11:01 a.m. A man on Dogwood Lane said his neighbor’s dogs “do their business” on his lawn.

6:25 p.m. Annoying teenage boys in a black car were shining a laser light at other drivers.

7:18 p.m. A Columbia Falls man said an old-looking teenager and an intoxicated man stole wood out of the back of his truck. The man was contacted and said he would return the wood in the morning.

10:16 p.m. Someone in Columbia Falls called in with suspicions regarding two men who had been “hanging around” in a busted truck and a “trashed” white car. Deputies were unable to find the men.
