Mountain Man Sighting

10:53 a.m. During an argument over barking dogs, a Columbia Falls man told his neighbor he was going to shoot him in the head.

11:29 a.m. A Kalispell woman reported that her angry husband was tearing up their house.

12:17 p.m. A “mountain-looking man” with a musket was seen walking down Aluminum Drive in Columbia Falls.

3:01 p.m. A resident of Boone Road in Somers complained that a man who was “exercising his dogs” by letting them run behind his truck, allowed the dogs to deviate off course and chase his horses. The angry horse owner said this happened twice.

3:04 p.m. While an observant man was picking up his Sunday paper he noticed four, maybe even five, children running and riding bikes near the school in Somers. He suspected they were up to no good.

3:35 p.m. Someone on Highway 2 West in Kalispell reported that numerous children and a woman in a wheel chair were rolling and walking on the road rather than using the bike path.

3:53 p.m. A woman on Snow Dust Place in Somers said that there was a vicious dog on her porch.

4:00 p.m. A man on Highway 35 said another driver shook his fist and yelled at him.

4:43 p.m. A resident of Goat Trail in Whitefish reported that their window had been smashed in with a bat the night before.

6:22 p.m. A Hungry Horse woman reported that her son stole a four-wheeler a few hours ago.

7:52 p.m. Hundreds of gunshots and laughing kids were heard in Martin City.

9:55 p.m. Someone in Hungry Horse said a rock was thrown through their daughter’s window.

12:53 a.m. A Hungry Horse man said a red pickup just drove through his lawn.
