9:44 a.m. A parent was worried that his children were inhaling the smoke coming from the pile of burning marijuana in his neighbor’s yard.

12:40 p.m. A resident on Highway 2 West reported that two rifles, jewelry and alcohol were taken from his home the night before.

3:52 p.m. A man and a woman fought over the purchase of a camper. Torn camper innards and threats to burn the trailer were involved.

4:31 p.m. A woman on East Reserve Drive confessed that she provided her personal information to a suspicious caller. She was advised to check her bank account.

5:02 p.m. A Columbia Falls man said the owner of a dog that bit his two-year-old gave him permission to shoot the dog. He wanted to know if this was legal.

5:23 p.m. A woman claimed she saw a man in Woodland Park snorting cocaine out of a jar.

5:44 p.m. A man on Sunset Drive reported that the neighbor kid has been throwing rocks in his yard. So far he has broken a window and a garden statue.

6:45 p.m. After an argument with her children, a Columbia Falls woman got into her car and told her husband that she was going “far away.”

8:47 p.m. According to one worried onlooker’s count, two loose brown horses crossed Highway 35 at least twice.

12:52 a.m. A concerned resident off Highway 2 East in Kalispell informed deputies that a mother cat and her babies have made the grass in front of a local bar their home.
