BOZEMAN – Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply says it will acquire Quality Supply stores in Missoula, Hamilton, Butte and Dillon.
The Bozeman-based supply store announced the acquisition on Thursday, saying the deal is scheduled to close on Tuesday.
Murdoch’s says 10 of Quality Supply’s 175 employees will lose their jobs as a result of the acquisition.
The Bozeman Daily Chronicle reports that terms of the sale were not disclosed.
The acquisition will give Murdoch’s 21 stores in Montana, Colorado, Wyoming and Nebraska, and a work force of more than 1,000 people.
