Hello Flathead Valley –
The folks at the Hockaday Museum of Art passed along some photos of the first day of their fourth annual Plein Art Paint Out, and they look pretty awesome.
The Plein Air Paint Out, if you’re unaware, is an event during which artists set up in Glacier National Park from June 22-24 and paint what they see. Then, all of the art is offered for sale at fixed prices at the Plein Air Party held June 25 in the Hockaday’s Centennial Pavilion tent.
Here’s Wanda Mumm’s work in progress at Lake McDonald:
There are plenty more photos available at the Hockaday’s Facebook page, which you can visit here.
