Flathead County Man Sentenced for Sex with Juvenile

KALISPELL – A former Flathead County man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison following a guilty plea to one count of sexual intercourse without consent involving a teenage girl.

Twenty-eight-year-old Daniel Baier was sentenced Thursday in Flathead County Court.

Baier was originally charged with three counts of sexual intercourse without consent involving two teenage girls who were not legally able to provide consent because they were both under age 16. Police say one was 15 and one was 13.

Baier pleaded guilty to one count on May 26 as part of a plea agreement.
