HELENA – Neil Livingstone has kicked off his bid for the 2012 Republican nomination for governor with state Sen. Ryan Zinke as his running mate.

Livingstone, who was raised in Helena, owns a security consulting business in Washington D.C., that serves U.S. and international businesses. Zinke is a retired Navy SEAL commander who represents Whitefish in the state Senate and is a business development consultant.

The 64-year-old Livingstone is one of five Republican candidates for governor.
