The Montana Highway Patrol says a one-vehicle rollover on a gravel road northwest of Whitefish killed the driver and injured his two passengers.
The patrol says a 46-year-old Whitefish man was westbound on Beaver Lake Road at around midnight Monday when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went off the road and overturned. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected and pinned under the vehicle. He died at the scene. His name was being withheld until his family could be notified.
Two out-of-state passengers were injured.
