Authorities say a man who escaped a prerelease center in Butte has been arrested in Kalispell.
The U.S. Marshals Service says Guy Eric Waldron was arrested without incident at about 2 p.m. Tuesday after surveillance showed him leaving a home and loading a vehicle.
The Great Falls Tribune reports Waldron was serving an 18-month sentence on a federal conviction for felon in possession of firearms and has past convictions for burglary and forgery.
A warrant for his arrest on a felony escape charge was issued June 28.
