MISSOULA – The Seattle Seahawks have waived former University of Montana running back Chase Reynolds.

The Seahawks cut Reynolds on Sunday, three days after he carried six times for eight yards in a 24-17 preseason win over the San Diego Chargers.

The Drummond native had signed a three-year free agent contract with the NFL team, but failed to make the cut in training camp.

Reynolds rushed for 4,070 yards and 59 touchdowns at Montana, setting the team’s career touchdown record.
