MISSOULA – Two men have been arrested after authorities say they found a grow operation with 336 marijuana plants near Evaro north of Missoula.
Andrew Allestad, 44, appeared in court by video from the county jail Monday on a charge of manufacture or distribution of dangerous drugs. He and 46-year-old Michael Urziceanu were arrested Friday by Confederated Salish and Kootenai tribal police and Missoula County Sheriff’s deputies.
During Allestad’s court hearing, Urziceanu could be heard off camera yelling, “Judge, those plants are mine!” He was later removed from the proceeding.
Urziceanu is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
