BABB – Glacier County officials say a Pennsylvania teen was killed in an all-terrain vehicle crash in Babb, on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in northern Montana.
The Montana Highway Patrol says the girl was traveling at a high rate of speed when she failed to negotiate a right hand curve, went off the road and landed in a pile of rocks at about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday. The ATV rolled several times.
The girl was taken to Indian Health Services in Browning, where she was pronounced dead.
Sheriff/Coroner Vernon “Napi” Billedeaux says the victim was 17. He did not release her age or hometown.
