Kalispell Public Schools officials say six Glacier High School students have been kicked off the freshman football team and suspended after reports that bullying took place on the team bus.
Superintendent Darlene Schottle says six students were suspected of participating in the harassment and intimidation after a game on Monday, with an unspecified number of students being the victims. The nature of the harassment has not been made public.
The grandmother of a girl who witnessed the harassment reported it to police and the school on Tuesday. Police received two more calls on Wednesday.
The freshman football coach, who was driving the bus, has resigned.
