Stolen Dog

7:49 a.m. A beagle puppy was on the loose on Whitefish Stage.

10:29 a.m. Someone in Kila reported that a black lab attacked their poodle. The poodle went to the vet.

11:28 a.m. A tractor was vandalized on Farm to Market Road.

1:29 p.m. A small dog wearing a bandanna showed up on a Whitefish resident’s property. It was taken to the shelter.

2:25 p.m. A woman on Twin Lakes Road reported that a man was videoing her. She also said someone was shooting a gun on her property and let all of her dogs out.

4:28 p.m. According to one observant citizen, a Hungry Horse woman with white hair put her 1-year-old child in the front seat of her car and didn’t put the seat belt on.

4:50 p.m. A woman on Foys Canyon Road said stolen property, including a laptop and someone’s purse, keeps showing up on her property.

7:05 p.m. A Kalispell man complained that his land lady locked him out of the backyard. She claimed that she saw him drinking out of a box of wine and worried he would become intoxicated and mean. They agreed to leave each other alone for the night.

7:17 p.m. Someone reported that a child was playing on Welf Lane and felt it was unsafe.

9:41 p.m. A Somers resident complained about a couple who were fighting and throwing furniture. What sounded like a fight was actually a mom encouraging her children to take their anger out on a garbage can.

10:43 p.m. A woman at a Columbia Falls trailer park said the owner’s intoxicated daughter stole her dog because she thought it was cruel that it had been left out in the cold.
