6:19 a.m. A man on Van Sant Road was hit in the groin and the face by a man he didn’t recognize.

8:39 a.m. A Columbia Falls woman wanted assistance removing a drunken woman from her home.

11:08 a.m. A woman called in to say that when she left a Bigfork bar at 2:30 a.m. the previous night, her vehicle was missing. She found it at a friend’s house the next day. The friend was surprised to find that he had it.

12:36 p.m. Gunshots were heard west of town.

1:09 p.m. Reportedly, a few months ago a Kalispell man lost his dog near Highway 2 East. A man from that area recently called to tell him that he found his dog. When the caller showed up, he found his dog in the man’s yard with a different collar on. The man, however, claimed that the dog was his.

2:04 p.m. A Hungry Horse resident reported that a man was throwing wood at her and her mom.

4:14 p.m. A kid in Columbia Falls told his mom that his step-dad got drunk and shot him with a paintball gun. This story, however, was a fib.

6:42 p.m. A motor home on Highway 83 near Bigfork exploded.

8:41 p.m. A man on Highway 93 South was seen punching his jacked up Bronco.

9:24 p.m. A frightened woman on Ranch Lane reported that there was a black bear on her back porch.
