A 15-year-old boy who had been suspended from Glacier High School for an incident on a freshman football bus in September won’t be returning to classes this school year.
The boy, who faces charges of misdemeanor assault in Flathead County Youth Court along with another 15-year-old, had been scheduled to return to classes on Oct. 31, but the parents of the players who reported being assaulted filed a lawsuit seeking to prevent that. The boy agreed to enroll in an alternative setting until a hearing on the lawsuit could be held.
District Judge David Ortley dismissed the lawsuit on Wednesday after the boy agreed to continue in another school for the rest of the school year.
