HELENA — Second-ranked and defending national champion Carroll College hosts Azusa Pacific Saturday in the quarterfinals of the NAIA playoffs.
The game kicks off at Nelson Stadium at 12:07 p.m.
Carroll (11-1) beat Valley City State 47-0 last weekend while No. 8 Azusa (8-2) downed Ottawa of Kansas 49-26.
Azusa is 0-6 against Carroll College, including a 35-21 loss to the Saints in a bitter-cold blizzard in the first round of the 2010 playoffs.
Much better weather is forecast for this year’s game, with temperatures in the low 40s and no chance of snow.
The game will be broadcast on CW television stations in Montana and on the Internet at www.gotw.tv.
