Third Teen Charged in Football Hazing Enters Plea

By Beacon Staff

A 15-year-old boy who was recently charged with misdemeanor assault for hazing teammates on the Glacier High freshman football bus in September has pleaded not guilty.

The boy denied the misdemeanor assault charge in Youth Court on Friday.

The charges allege the boy brought two victims to the back of the bus and held them down by lying on top of them.

Another 15-year-old has admitted guilt for his role in the assault of at least four players on Sept. 12. That teen acknowledged covering the victims’ mouths so they couldn’t call for help and punching them in the groin. He faces sentencing on Jan. 6.

Another 15-year-old boy also has denied charges filed against him. His next court date is Jan. 18.
